Laurence Cottle - www.laurencecottle.com - probably the greatest UK bass player to emerge in the last 20 years, Laurence is not just an incredible bass virtuoso he's also a man of vast musicianship - displayed best in his awesome BIg Band. I've been extremely fortunate to appear on the same stage as Laurie out in Thailand (at the2005 Koh Samui music festival) and I get along to any gig I can when he's playing in London.
