Blending funk, drum and bass, jazz and rock with hard hitting grooves and free flowing improvisation ‘Homespun’ is the debut solo project from bassist Mike Flynn. Drawing on influences from electronica to classic fusion sounds all fuelled by some fierce bass lines and solos this is energetic music inspired by London life. Joined by brilliant saxophonist Matt Telfer and equally talented trumpeter Rowan Porteus this is a 21st century mix of jazz and dance music from Mike’s Urban Rhythm Base.
