Welcome to my music page – this is my way of sharing some of the stuff I can do on the bass with the world at large – and generally speaking people seem to like it. I got into music in a very informal self-taught kind of a way - I attended the University of Bedroom Musicians early on - but have received expert tutelage from Mike Mondesir, Steve Lawson, Franc O'Shea, Rob Statham and John Goldsby - while I've also learnt an invaluable amount from the hundreds of brilliant musicians I've played with on gigs.

I am constantly learning new things and developing my musical ideas but I feel that as a bassist I thrive in a band context best, the whole phenomenon of the 'solo' bassist is something I like to dabble in but is definitely not a true representation of who and what I am as a musician.
